The aim of the LiLaCC project is improvement and adjustment of the educational systems of Partner
Countries via knowledge and technology transfer in the field of DIT-based
solutions to study and mitigate climate change. Project specific objectives include:
1. To
define the needs
and requirements of national educational systems of the partner countries HEIs
related to climate change education,
2. To
adjust the curriculum of participating HEIs by developing
a MOOC "Disruptive Information Technologies in Climate Change",
consisting of four modules (artificial
intelligence, machine learning, blockchain and Internet of Things in climate
change), to face recent climate change problems,
3. To
transfer knowledge and technology between project partners and local
stakeholders through a Living
Lab instrument,
including the development of the capacity of the academic staff to teach the
new modules
4. To
create a pool
of jobs in relevant DIT for climate change mitigation in
cooperation with regional enterprises and governmental authorities,
5. To
organise learning
mobility opportunities for students and staff of participating HEIs to exchange
the best practices in climate change education,
